Ride the Rapid Metro past the glass towers. Work, then play.
The story
Golden hour in Cyber City: the glass towers flash with the sunset and their windows light up one by one as a short Rapid Metro train waits between them on its viaduct, and a traveller with a coffee stands on the paved plaza in front of them as office-goers with laptop bags head home.
Why this picture
DLF Cyber City is Gurgaon's cluster of glass office towers, threaded since 2013 by the Rapid Metro, a fully elevated line of short three-car silver-and-blue trains. At golden hour the glass catches the low sun just as the offices light up and the day's work spills out across the plazas, between neem trees and planters of bougainvillea: work, then play at Cyber Hub. Black drongos sally after insects over the city.
The motion
Office windows light up in turn; drongos fly across the sky; the sun's rays turn; a neem on the plaza sways. A 16-second loop.
